Safety Tips
For sellers:
- ⚠️ The buyer suggests paying you on Veem (an US payment platform with a high risk of chargebacks).
- ⚠️ The buyer does not pay you on Revolut with a direct transfer, but by funding a payment link with ApplePay possibly with a stolen credit card.
- ⚠️ The buyer does not send you the exact to the cent payment amount, but sends you the sum in chunks, which is a sign of a third party payment.
- ⚠️ The buyer sends you a higher amount by mistake and asks the difference to be returned to a completely different payment method.
- ⚠️ The buyer's payment method is not properly filled out, but something vague, which prevents you from verifying that the payment is actually coming from him.
- ⚠️ Tip from a veteran user: If a returning buyer uses a completely different name on their payment method than in previous trades, pause and open a dispute.
