Intro: Your phone holds the keys, your desktop gets the screen
The Peach web app at web.peachbitcoin.com is a companion to the mobile app, not a replacement. Your Peach account — and the keys to your bitcoin — live on your phone. The web app pairs with it, just like WhatsApp Web: you browse the order book, create offers and manage trades comfortably on your desktop, while every sensitive action is signed and confirmed on your phone. Self-custody and no-KYC stay exactly the same.
Guide 1: Install the mobile app and create your account
If you don't have Peach on your phone yet, install it through the App Store, Play Store, APK download or Zap Store and create your account. It only takes a few seconds — see the mobile Quick Start guide for the full walkthrough. Don't forget to create a backup!
Guide 2: Pair your browser
On your desktop, open web.peachbitcoin.com. A pairing QR code is shown. Always double-check you are on the correct URL
On your phone, open the Peach app and tap "Connect to desktop" (on Android you'll find it in the settings)
Point your phone's camera at the QR code on your desktop screen. TIP: you may have to get really close to the QR (especially for GrapheneOS users).
That's it, your browser is paired, just like WhatsApp Web. You'll see the homepage with different sections like news, stats and your profile summary
Guide 3: Trade from your desktop
Browse the full order book and filter offers by currency and payment method
Create your own buy or sell offers with your preferences
Send and accept trade requests, chat with your counterparty and keep an eye on your ongoing trades
When an action needs your keys — like releasing the escrow — you confirm it on your phone. Your keys never leave your phone
Guide 4: Disconnect a session
Ending a session is easy: simply closing the window logs you out. This is especially handy on a shared or public computer.
You can also log out at any time with the button in the top right corner
